Board Certified Behavior Analyst/FT/Ocean County, NJ
Easterseals New Jersey is looking for an experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) interested in joining a team that dedicates itself to making positive differences in people’s lives every day!

The BCBA is responsible for providing support to individuals and their families by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), function analyses and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills to make a positive impact on people with developmental disabilities.*

The right candidate will:*
- Perform appropriate behavioral assessments and evaluations.
- Conduct observations and collect data in all Community Support Service settings for assigned behavior referrals.
- Develop, approve, and assess behavior plans to address problem behavior with a focus on reducing problematic behavior (s) in the residential/day services.
- Provide ongoing consulting services and training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to direct care professionals, and program managers, on behavior support methods and techniques.
- Provide a monthly written evaluation on the effectiveness of behavioral treatment plans for any individual that is being supported and documented within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Provide training and assist staff in Safe Crisis Management and De-escalation.
- Maintain current state-mandated training and certifications.
- Follow all current policies and procedures of the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) requirements.
- Cooperate with authorities during an inspection or investigation.
- Ability to demonstrate competence in behavior management skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills, and interpersonal relations
- Meet as needed with staff to discuss ongoing consumer issues and to provide support when necessary.
- Review and sign off on behavior plan/treatment plan training for all field staff and provide field supervision when necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in providing behavior support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license in the state of residence and an acceptable driving record.
