Portico has a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper for our apartment community, Park North in Houston, TX!
The successful candidate should have the following requirements:
- Provide timely and accurate Bookkeeping functions, as necessary.
- Balance and maintain accurate ledgers for the asset.
- Match purchase orders with invoices, runs reporting.
- Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management.
- Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts.
- Monthly reporting on all invoices, deposits, petty cash, and all other financial reporting.
- Assist with monthly financial review.
- Assist with collecting, posting rent, and collecting delinquent rent deposits.
- Send information to collection agencies, attend court hearings if necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Review general ledger account numbers and correct coding errors.
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
- Respond to inquiries within organization and from vendors, researching payment issues as needed.
- Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
- Communicate with manager on job or deadline issues
- Execute Special Projects and Assignments as Requested.
