PAY GRADE:
Range 7

SUPERVISOR:
Director or designee.
SUMMARY:
Performs various bookkeeping functions for ECS program. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintains program student and financial information on QuickBooks.
2. Prepares required monthly reports, submits them to the principal for review, and sends them to the ECS Accounting Office when they are due.
3. May receive payments from parents.
4. May prepare program bank deposits and district deposits.
5. May track program receipts, expenses, and reimbursements, and maintain full documentation.
6. Will utilize a "checks and balance" system to ensure accuracy of bank deposits and all other bookkeeping tasks.
7. Performs system back up each work day; back up must remain on site.
8. Performs other bookkeeping duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Computer experience mandatory; QuickBooks experience preferred.
4. Accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping experience required.
5. Must work on-site.
6. Total combined hours may not exceed 40 hours per week, even when working at more than
one school].
7. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
8. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
1. Frequent bending, reaching, climbing.
2. Moderate physical effort (lifting up to 25 pounds).
3. Eye/hand coordination (e.g., typing, ten key).
4. Visual concentration on equipment.
5. Concentrated reading/writing/mathematics.
6. Hearing.
7. Working alone.
8. Working with others.
