What you'll be responsible for in this role Pickup/Delivery. Maintains truck log, per state and federal regulations- inspects truck equipment and suppliers such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water. Drives vehicle to transport items from warehouse to plant or pick up items. Maintains phone contact with supervisor and dispatch to receive pick up and delivery instructions. Prepares receipts for materials delivered. Collects payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges when required. Loads and unloads trucks, unloads at customers facility- inspects product and checks accuracy of both products and quantities delivered. Picks up products at customers and suppliers, checks products and quantities for accuracy. Processes clear and accurate paperwork- Has inception authority to release product prior to delivery warehouse. Operators auxiliary equipment mounted on truck such as hydraulics, hoists, etc. Conveys material and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other areas using dedicated machinery. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelve, or bins per predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code. Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tolls, or other stock items. Marks materials with identifying information, records the amount of materials or items received or distributed.

We are currently hiring for a Class C Driver out of the Paos Robles, CA area. This position is NON CDL operating a 26' Box Truck. This position does require you to have 12 months of previous box truck experience. You will be responsible for loading and unloading using a stand forklift. Must have prior forklift experience.

Medical Card Required

HS Diploma or GED required

2 years of local city delivery experience required

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Pay: $19.00 per hour.

To qualify, you must have the following:

· Valid Driver’s License

· Minimum of 21 years old.

· No Felonies within the past seven (7) years.

· Minimum of two (2) years of driving experience.

· No more than one (1) ‘at fault’ accident in last three (3) years.

· No more than one (1) suspended license for ‘non-payment’ of ticket in last three (3) years.

· No DUI violations within the last seven (7) years.

· No serious traffic violations within the last three (3) years.

· Consent to a drug screen.

· Consent to a background check. Prior convictions may not necessarily disqualify you from working for this company
