Summary:

Working from shop drawings, procedures or other written, verbal, or electronic instruction; perform variety of operations associated with the componentry, sub-assemblies and assembly of final product, for chiller products. Maintain production equipment and facilities in a safe, clean, and efficient operational manner. Adhere to all procedures and properly prepare and maintain records, in either written or electronic form, regarding safety, quality, productivity, preventive maintenance and housekeeping. Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • All Brazer Skill Levels
  • Perform Line Assembler Duties as assigned and as needed to effectuate the completion of brazing and brazing duties at assigned work areas.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adhere to and remain in compliance with all safety rules and PPE requirements
  • Successfully complete classroom and DOJO training (copper to copper brazing, copper to brass brazing, copper to steel brazing and know the five stages of flux)
  • Read, understand, and work from blueprints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, applicable OMS documents, and other written, electronic, or verbal instruction.
  • Work with materials to complete assigned tasks to meet production requirements.
  • Operate tools and equipment to assemble, test, handle, manipulate and move components, assemblies, and final product.
  • Use measuring and testing devices as well as visual inspection to ensure the quality products and conformity to all prints, work instructions and Quality standards.
  • Maintain required records including but not limited to quality checklists, inputs into specified electronic systems and reporting of all line issues into the appropriate data collection systems.
  • Successful completion of required skills training (e.g. crane and tugger operation, fall protection, etc.)
  • Preventive Maintenance daily on all braze equipment (Daily Safety Check sheet)

Required Education: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred experience: Prior Manufacturing Experience
  • Required Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
    • Basic computer skills
    • Basic hand tools
    • Blueprint reading
    • Ability to read a variety of measuring devices including, but not limited to, tape measure
    • Safe operation of hand and small power tools
