The Builder Relationship Market Manager is responsible for identifying, attracting and soliciting recurring business from eligible builder relationships focusing on the Ohio/Midwest Market for the GO Mortgage Retail channel. The primary responsibility of the role is to seek out new builder partnerships and assist the builder through the required application process. Once the builder is deemed eligible in the Construction loan program, the Builder Relationship Market Manager is responsible for the continued relationship and for securing mortgage loan referrals from the builder. We offer a highly competitive compensation plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and solicit new builder relationships.
  • Pursue builder leads generated by GO loan officers and general marketing efforts of GO Mortgage.
  • Work directly with builders to determine if they meet GO Mortgage’s eligibility requirements.
  • Work directly with builders to prepare and submit a full builder application to GO Mortgage’s Risk division for review/and determination of eligibility.
  • Work with eligible builders to educate and train them on GO Mortgage’s Construction to perm program, how the process works, loan documentation required and to help set expectations on how to do business with GO Mortgage and its borrowers.
  • Work with eligible builders to solicit new business & leads, then to assign those leads to GO Mortgage Retail loan officers for fulfillment.Identify potential new Loan Officers for GO Mortgage who have current construction loan experience.
  • Serve as the Relationship Manager for eligible builders and help to resolve escalations stemming from draw administration issues, construction issues, and other originations issues as needed.
  • Develops and maintains a network of existing and prospective builders which could serve as viable sources of business for Go Mortgage’s Construction Lending program.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required. BA/BS degree in any field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the mortgage industry required; prior experience as a Loan Originator preferred. Experience in Builder sales and purchaser loan processes very helpful.
  • Experience working in Construction Lending or directly with builders with ability to leverage existing relationships preferred.

Essential Skills:

  • Effective sales and marketing skills, including the ability to prospect and solicit new builders through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Proven ability to foster relationships with builders in order to encourage leads and referrals.
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication and rapport building skills.
  • Must have the drive and energy to manage multiple builder relationships while soliciting new business.
  • Strong time management skills are required.
  • Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
