The Fairview Park City Schools has an opening for a Bus Driver, up to four hours per day, for the 2022-2023 school year.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma
Hold and maintain a valid CDL with School Bus Endorsement
OBI Certification Preferred (not required)
A safe driving record (per abstract results)
Previous school bus driving experience preferred
Friendly and polite demeanor and the ability to work well with students and staff
Evidence of exceptional attendance and work record
Evidence of strong disciplinary strategies for working with students
Ability to follow written and verbal orders

GENERAL DUTIES:
Transport students to and from school on a daily basis
Maintain proper student behavior while operating school bus
Prepare and maintain student information reports, records and communications
Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Director of Operations
Transport students to and from extra activities as required
Maintain the general cleanliness of the bus externally and internally
Communicate with the appropriate people any deficiencies as they pertain to the operation of the bus

RATE OF PAY:
Payscale starts at $18.89 per hour (proper placement per the negotiated agreement)

STARTING DATE:
Upon Closing for the 2022-2023 school year
