Position Summary:

The role is responsible for development and publication of routine and ad-hoc reports & analytics regarding SMA production and related services. This position will provide support to the SMA management team in preparation of budgets, financial analysis, month end reconciliation, capital expenditure & investment analysis and will provide insight and recommendations where appropriate to support decision making within business.

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
  • Lead the development and publication of routine and ad-hoc reports & analytics regarding SMA production and related services. Retrieval of all relevant data from Data Warehouses needed to compile and produce informative reporting while providing the necessary support to improve profitability and/or productivity of the department.
  • Create and/or provide ongoing maintenance for various advanced MS Access databases used across several departments at the company. Develop new processes and applications to make information easily accessible.
  • Understand and make recommendations to management with regard to the analysis performed through daily operations within the department.
  • Act as technical support to the department with regard to the use of systems and software
Other various responsibilities as assigned.

Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job .

Position Qualifications:

Education Required: Bachelors Degree in Engr, Operations, Business, or Analytics.

Required or Acceptable Job-Related Experience: data and process analysis, supply chain management, continuous improvement/Lean, database design or management

Years of Job-Related Experience Required: 1-3 yrs

Technical/Other Skills Required: MS Office suite required. LEAN systems training, SQL and Vis Basic desired
