General Role Description

Provide business analysis for a multi-industry, multi-currency business unit (BU)

Role Accountabilities

- Advise BU management regarding BU performance data and recommend solutions to meet client and business needs
- Identify, create, and facilitate business process design changes, as approved
- Compile and analyze financial data for Mid-Range Plan (MRP) development, preparation, and execution
- Develop process improvements, integrating new systems and processes with existing ones and partnering with internal and external clients to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies
- Analyze market trends and data to develop and evaluate business growth solutions
- Ensure variances to budget are identified, analyzed and reconciled
- Analyze BU system data, identify errors, validate with appropriate Company personnel and make necessary corrections
- Analyze assigned BU business unit reports, identify potential problem items, validate with appropriate Company personnel, and make necessary corrections
- Provide timely updates on project performance, integration of corporate business project processes, market trends, project status, and client relationship issues to business unit, company, and parent company management
- Originate projects in ERP, including client entry, project funding, budget creation and maintenance, invoice schedule generation, and integration tasks
- Verify Terms & Conditions (T’s & C’s) on purchase orders, resolve or escalate per guidelines prior to order entry
- Create, generate, review, print, and distribute corporate business reports, as requested

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, business, or equivalent via education and/or work experience
- 3 years of business analysis experience
- 5 years total experience in accounting, finance, business analysis, project management or related work
- Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility
- Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts
- Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Availability to travel, less than 10%, sometimes with limited notice

Preferred Qualifications

- Proficiency in Oracle ERP, Visio, CRM tools, HTML**
- Advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of contract terminology
