So, what’s Transglobal?
Transglobal helps construction companies see their way through any challenge by collecting and organizing data. We digitize and organize any documentation spatially, so our customers can find all their data for a specific project with one click. We generate most of the data for our clients through surveying, GIS mapping, or land services. Our clients range from fast-growth solar farms to Fortune 500 power companies. We’re a predominately remote organization, but most of us call Texas “home.”


And what’s the job?
This open position is for an entry-level sales representative, living in Houston, Midland, Odessa, or Pecos. We run a team-based sales strategy, where you will support seasoned account executives by coordinating outreach for new and existing customers. Your job is to understand our ideal customer profile, identify if a potential customer fits that profile, and execute an outreach cadence that results in a meeting! You will be supported by a sales enablement coordinator, a marketing content creation team, and senior-level sales reps who will teach you industry-specific sales tactics. Every week, you will reach out to new customers, attend sales meetings, and work on the “front lines” at industry events! We’ve found that our most successful sales reps are relentlessly results-oriented, competitive, sociable, and coachable. We enjoy working with people who embrace freedom in their roles and perform at a high level with little oversight.

  • Relentlessly reach out to new clients in engaging, creative ways that elicit responses
  • Generate leads from BD events (for example, industry conferences or happy hours)
  • Superb communication skills and social graces
  • Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads
  • Maintains accurate and detailed reports of sales activity through CRM system (HubSpot)

Education and/or Experience

  • Track record of having no fear of failure, a positive attitude in difficult situations, and a highly social nature
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Strongly prefer individuals who have experience selling and enjoy the sales process
  • Basic computer skills, and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to travel 30-50%
  • Existing contacts or network opportunities in the markets where Transglobal Services is focused (for example, renewable energy, electric utilities, and oil & gas)

Work Environment

This job operates in an outside sales environment, with most travel being done daily, by vehicle. Long periods of sitting in a motor vehicle can be expected. This position is remote with an in-office option.


Physical Demands

Travel. The position requires lifting files and merchandise up to 15 lbs., opening filing cabinets, bending, and standing as necessary. Extensive driving is required for business-necessary travel.


Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. This outside sales role requires extensive day and frequent overnight travel. Work will also necessitate non-traditional business hours to engage potential clients during after-hours and weekend networking events.
