Sr Analyst Business Planning & Analysis, Supply Chain

This highly visible role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day business partnering with the supply chain team as well as driving best-in-class improvements in process and analytical capabilities. You will be responsible for developing collaborative business partnerships across the supply chain organization to drive measurable results. This role will provide sound Business Guidance, Capital Investment Support, KPI Monitoring, Financial Planning and Analysis, Budget and Forecast process ownership, and Management Reporting.

What you'll do:

  • Annual planning & quarterly forecasting for specific areas of Mezzetta's P&L
  • Lead SC financial weekly and monthly reporting, perform variance analysis and work with cross-functional teams to mitigate variances
  • Ad-hoc financial and non-financial analysis supporting Operations and Logistics
  • Acquire deep understanding of the various business drivers behind manufacturing, procurement and logistics functional areas
  • Ongoing performance analysis compared to plan & forecast
  • Develop and deliver robust, consistent and accurate analysis of supply chain performance using KPI dashboards and non-financial data to highlight performance
  • Identifying & pursuing opportunities for increased profitability or efficiency
  • Educating non-finance partners of business concepts and increasing the business acumen of departmental leadership
  • Drive best-in-class improvements in process and analytical capabilities in key areas of responsibility including financial modeling and monthly reporting
  • Preparing capex approval packages with ROI calculations and comparisons to alternatives.
  • Review and provide COGS estimates for new product / innovation launches
  • Build financial tools and models for our logistics team that help them advance the business. Develop ad hoc analytics to explain key business drivers, size the financial impact of various final mile tactics, and influence optimal outcomes
  • Provide support to VP Finance on projects as assigned

Who you are and what you'll need for this position:

  • B.A./B.S. in Finance, Business, or related field; or an equivalent in education and experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Finance and Analysis, preferably in the CPG industry
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of and the ability to proficiently use a PC along with MS Office Suite software with exceptional Excel skills
  • Ability to extract and analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and make actionable recommendations
  • Proactive mindset that always looks for and comes forward with solutions whenever faced with setbacks and challenges
  • Ability to perform ROI, profitability, and variance analyses
  • Working knowledge and experience in planning, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Skilled at presenting financial data to all levels of leaders
  • Experience with PowerBI a plus


Pay Range

$100,000—$115,000 USD
