Typical Day:

· Work in various systems to support part print releasing & pricing updates.

· Lay out supplier and engineering design price change requests for review and approval.

· Contact suppliers for part and tooling quotes

· Assist the category buyer in negotiations with suppliers by creating price analyses, pulling part specifications, & reviewing terms Provide updated supplier and part readiness availability to the category, supply chain, & new product introduction teams for new product start ups

· Flexible hours around core hours

Technical Skills Required:

Microsoft Excel (basic), Microsoft PowerPoint

Soft Skills Required:

· Clear and concise verbal and electronic communication skills.

· Ability to work with multiple teams across multiple on-going projects.

· Good organization, dealing with many parts / different projects / different teams at once.

· Good communication, concise verbal, and electronic communication skills with suppliers & internal teams.

· Sense of urgency, customer focus Experience support production environment.

Experience/Education Required:

· Bachelor's or Associate's Degree plus 2 years’ experience preferred in business, purchasing, supply chain, understand quotes & pricing.
