Able to work at the registers and are the face of the company, taking orders, filling drinks, accepting payment and putting fast food orders together. Be in charge of keeping their area neat and tidy, filling straws, napkins, utensils and condiments and wiping down drink stations, Lobby Tables and keeping restrooms clean. Cashier will often be speaking directly to the customer. Good listening skills, speaking and communicating calmly, effectively and in a friendly manner, and patience will serve you well. Cashier will often stand for long periods of time. Cashiers will have to be flexible to work nights, weekends and extended hours if needed. Having a flexible schedule is key!

• Transfer orders to the kitchen to ensure their preparation
• Monitors orders and ensures their prompt delivery
• Helps package food in boxes and bags
• Up-sells in-store promotions, when applicable
• Listens to and resolves customer complaints, suggestions and inquires
• Sweep and mops the floor regularly
• Replenish and preps for shift change
• Tallies orders served and amount of cash received
• Inventories supplies and goods with supervising manager, when needed
• Takes money from customers and provides correct change
• Processes credit card and debit card transaction
• Keeps track of the cash drawer and ensures it is balanced at the end of the shift.
• Relevant training is provided on the job in order to learn employer-specific functions such as how to operate the register and to learn information about menu items.

Previous restaurant experience is preferred!
