Job description

We are looking for a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. Cashier responsibilities include taking customer's food orders, receiving payments and issuing receipts, packing and sending food orders, and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. Previous experience in a customer service position would be ideal, but a good attitude, willingness to learn, and work ethic are the most important factors! Ultimately, you’ll ensure all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction.

You should be available to regularly work either the first shift (11am-4pm) or second shift (4pm-9:30pm). We are looking for people to work either throughout the week or on the weekends--we are open Monday-Saturday. An ideal candidate would be someone who's reliable, on time, diligent, and a positive co-worker.

Responsibilities

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
• Take online, call in, or walk-in orders
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
• Resolve customer complaints
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
• Stand on feet throughout the shift
• Give food orders to customers

Skills

• Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales
• Basic PC knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
• Good math skills
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Customer satisfaction-oriented
• High school degree (or equivalent)
