We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team at Ten Asian Food Hall. As a member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, preparing bubble tea beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:

Order Taking and Customer Service:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, either in person or over the phone.
• Provide recommendations and answer any questions regarding the menu and bubble tea options.
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and courteously.

Food Preparation:

• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food preparation area.

Bubble Tea Preparation:

• Prepare a variety of bubble tea beverages, including milk teas, fruit teas, and specialty drinks.
• Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
• Handle ingredients with care and maintain inventory of bubble tea supplies.
• Keep the beverage station clean and sanitized.

Order Packaging and Presentation:

• Package take-out orders accurately and neatly, ensuring that all items are included and presented attractively.
• Double-check orders to minimize mistakes and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Pay attention to special requests, dietary restrictions, and allergies, and communicate them clearly to the kitchen staff.

Cash Handling and Point of Sale (POS) Operations:

• Process customer payments accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Handle cash transactions, maintain cash registers, and reconcile sales at the end of each shift.
• Ensure adherence to cash handling procedures and maintain a secure and organized cash register area.

Cleanliness and Sanitation:

• Follow proper food safety and hygiene standards, including handwashing, sanitizing surfaces, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Clean and maintain the work area, equipment, and utensils regularly.
• Assist with general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role or in the food service industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and familiarity with bubble tea beverages is an advantage.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic math skills for cash handling.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
