Southeastern Directions for Life is one of 11 Community Mental Health Centers in South Dakota dedicated to providing quality, professional services to keep our individuals, families, schools, workplaces, and communities emotionally strong and healthy. We serve children, adults, and families each year in Minnehaha, Lincoln, McCook, and Turner Counties. Southeastern's mission is to "educate and support individuals to discover their directions for life".
Southeastern Directions for Life has an immediate opening for a Full Time Case Manager at the Cayman Court location. Schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 with rotating on-call. Cayman Court operates 24/7, 365 days a year; flexability during appointments, emergencies and inclement weather is required.
JOB SUMMARY: A non-exempt position providing comprehensive supportive services, psychosocial rehabilitation and therapeutic services to adults with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders in an assisted living environment. Staff will provide services both on a planned and as needed basis. Function as an active and positive member of Community Support Services (CSS) and Cayman Court team.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree in one of the social sciences of human services required, Bachelor’s degree in one of the social sciences or human services preferred. Must have a current driver’s license, car insurance, and good driving record. Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check, including fingerprinting, drug screening, Dept. of Health & Human Services check and a TB test.

- Maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record so as not to put Southeastern Directions for Life insurance in jeopardy.
- Maintain positive rapport with staff and individuals within the agency.
- Perform in accordance with the Core Values of the agency.
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
