Position Summary

As a Center Manager, you will manage the Center’s daily, monthly and annual operations. Responsibilities will include driving a culture within the center focused on customer service, training Certified Personal Coaches, reviewing the performance of the Coaches, coaching individual lessons, and conducting club fittings, managing the duty roster to ensure efficient and successful Center operations, taking an active role in merchandising golf equipment, and conducting monthly inventory counts.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Uphold GOLFTEC Company Values & GOLFTEC Policies and Procedures
• Drive & support the culture of team in the Center
• Ensure Customer Service at the highest level and attend to client concerns as necessary
• Train and Onboard Certified Personal Coaches resulting in GOLFTEC University readiness and successful completion for all new Coaches
• Oversee performance of Coaches including conducting performance appraisals and annual reviews
• Complete Lesson Reviews with all Coaches
• Establish and manage the Center hours of operation and schedule book ensuring compliance with all mandatory breaks and GOLFTEC policy on lesson scheduling
• Performance Management
• Audit and approve timecards for all employees in the Center including requests for paid time off
• Conduct monthly physical inventory counts
• Split monthly commissions and conduct individual commission split meetings with all Coaches
• Report monthly on performance, projections, and action items
• Attend monthly Manager Calls
• Conduct Monthly Staff Meetings
• Coach individual lessons and club fittings
• Handle all requested refunds and customer concerns
• Ensure completion of the daily opening and closing checklist
• Mobility is an essential function of this career. Center Managers generally need physical capabilities to stand, bend, kneel or crouch for sometimes extended periods and lift items weighing more than 30 pounds

Compensation

GOLFTEC Managers & Coaches work together as a team and are incentivized by the Center’s performance. GOLFTEC Center Managers are Exempt Employees and are paid a competitive annual salary along with commissions, bonus opportunities, and other performance-based components.
