Southeast Lung Associates is currently seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our practice in Rincon, GA in a CMA/Nurse role. A large, well-established pulmonary and critical care medicine practice, our 15 physicians and 11 physician extenders offer the most advanced medical care and services for patients throughout southeast and coastal Georgia.

As a Medical Assistant in a nurse role, you would be responsible for assuring quality care and best practice for our patients under the supervision of a practice physician. Your clinical duties would include pre-certifications, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories in an electronic medical record, preparing patients for examination, verifying and reconciling medications and drug allergies, administering injections, drawing blood, coordinating procedures, medication refills and providing patient instructions. The preferred candidate will have Medical Assistant certification and/or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant with electronic medical record experience and solid knowledge of medications. Athena experience preferred.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
