High Point has programs offering Acute Treatment Services (detoxification) for clients seeking voluntary Inpatient Substance Use Treatment and Clinical Stabilization Services.

High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Compliance with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA Regulations
• Patient safety checks
• Participating in setting the therapeutic milieu of the unit, remaining calm in crisis
• Escorting patients to meals, peer and educational groups and outdoor breaks
• Admission of patients, inventory of clothing and valuables, paperwork of admission process along with removal of contraband (drugs, equipment and weapons) on admission
• Observation / reporting to nurse and counselor signs of withdrawal and patient behaviors
• Observation and accounting of all patients at all times ensuring safety as well as documentation

CNA Qualifications

• Minimum of Certification as a Nursing Assistant
• Minimum of one year supervised experience in substance abuse treatment or a closely related field preferred
