ABHS Parkside is looking for great staff to join out team in providing healthcare services to our community and clients and our CNAs play a key role.

Our CNAs serve our clients in performing vitals and assisting with medication administration, constantly monitoring of patients’ health and well-being during the Detox and Treatment process, reporting relevant physical and psychological events to the nursing and counseling staff, and ensuring as comfortable an experience as possible for all Detox and Residential clients.

Qualifications:
CNA certification. Previous experience with mental health/substance abuse preferred.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to communicate both verbally and in written form, use a computer keyboard, physically perform all necessary job functions and actively travel throughout the facility.
Work Environment:
Must be able to work independently; work and communicate with other professionals in an effective and professional manner; must have appropriate time management skills and meet required deadlines; be able to work under stressful conditions.

Our CNAs also

• Assure that all ABHS’ clients’ needs are met with dignity and respect and in a timely manner.
• Make decisions based on the welfare of the client, the success of the team, and the quality and integrity of the program.
• Understand and facilitate federal confidentiality laws, 42 CFR, and protects client confidentiality/anonymity, and assures no information is shared without proper authorization.
• Ensure compliance to contractual obligations, ABHS policies, and State statues(WACs).

Must be able to pass pre-employment and drug screens.
