We’re seeking full and part-time certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to join our team at our on-site health center at Sonora within Splendido. We are a Life Plan Community that provides assisted living, memory support, and skilled nursing. As a CNA on our team, you’ll be providing extraordinary service to residents in a person-centered and professional manner to ensure each resident’s comfort and well-being. We have opportunities for overnight 6:00 pm - 6:00 am.
Must be available holidays and at least 1 weekend day.

Qualifications and Skills
Must have a current Certified Nursing Assistant license. Caregiver certification also is preferred. Valid fingerprint card required. Must be fully vaccinated with booster.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provides the highest quality of care and services to residents in an efficient, safe and professional manner in accordance with all regulatory and MLW standards of care. This is a safety sensitive position.
Essential Functions:
- Provides specific general care routines in accordance with established
resident care plans & procedures to ensure resident’s comfort , dignity & care.
Understands and implements the principals of infection control,
consistently using universal precautions.
- Observes, reports and records any changes observed in resident ‘s behavior
and physical condition including resident reactions and concerns.
- Demonstrates compliance with all Mather LifeWays safety standards
including hazard communication, bloodborne pathogen procedures and
incident reporting.
- Maintains appropriate communications, positive attitude and customer service excellence with residents, families and other guests, coworkers and managers.
Secondary Functions
- Understands and demonstrates compliance with all MLW employee policies and
procedures as documented in the Employee Handbook, including attendance
And timeliness standards.
- Actively participates in resident and staff meetings and inservices as
Required by Federal, State and MLW requirements.
- Demonstrates good body mechanics and evidence of safe transfers.
