We're looking for a compassionate and responsible Case Manager to join our Alternative Response team!

The Alternative Response program at Carson Valley Children's Aid serves families who are referred by the Office of Children & Youth and are facing financial hardships. As a Case Manager, you will help to identify families' concrete needs, facilitate monetary support, and connect participants with resources in their communities. Our goal is to keep families together and thriving.

Vaccination Requirements: All staff members in our AR program are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (2 doses Moderna/Pfizer or 1 dose J&J). Eligible staff will also be required to have 1 booster shot by 6/30/22.

Work Schedule: 40 hours weekly. Monday to Friday, approx. 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.

Work Setting: 20% office, 65% home and community visits throughout Montgomery County, 10% meetings and events.

Essential Job Functions:

• 
  Conduct initial face-to-face visitation with families.
• Engage families in service planning, prioritizing budget needs and stipend purchase decisions.
• Perform case management duties by linking families with community resources.
• Establish positive working relationships with professionals in community agencies and schools.
• Maintain detailed documentation regarding family stipends.
• Complete accurate and timely case documentation, agency paperwork, and outcome data.
• Participate in supervision, staff meetings, trainings, etc.
• Provide shadowing opportunities to new staff.

Role Requirements:

• 
  Bachelor's degree in social work or another closely related field (required)
• Prior work or internship experience related to case management (required)
• Valid driver's license, daily access to a reliable vehicle, and car insurance (required)
