Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist

We are currently seeking a Chiropractic Assistant with Front Desk experience to join our busy team!

Chiropractic Assistant Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming patients
- Escorting patients to exam rooms and maintaining office "flow"
- Performing clinical therapies such as Electric Muscle Stimulation, Ultrasound, Laser and Spinal Decompression.
- Supporting, guiding and educating patients as they undergo Physical Therapy.
- Light cleaning duties.
- Completing patient documentation in the Chirotouch Electronic Health Record System.
- Providing support to Chiropractors and other colleagues.
Front Desk Responsibilities include:
- Greeting and welcoming patients.
- Answering phones.
- Collecting copayments.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Responding to patient inquiries.
- Patient retention duties.
- Administrative tasks as required.
- Light cleaning duties.
- Completing patient documentation in the Chirotouch Electronic Health Record System.
- Providing support to Chiropractors and other colleagues.

Job Type:
- This is a full time position, working 35- 40 hours per week.
- Shifts are scheduled between 7.30am and 7pm Mon-Fri, working one Friday evening and one Saturday morning per month.
- We have four offices - located in Gambrills, Bowie, Odenton and Severna Park. While we try to base you mostly in one office, you must be willing and able to travel to any of the others, sometimes at short notice.
Skills/Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma is required and previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields would be an advantage.
Pay:
- $15.00 -$17.00 per hour based on experience
