Banyan Treatment Centers in Wasilla, AK is currently recruiting for bachelor's level clinical enthusiasts with a CDC II, NCAC II, or MAC. to join our team. This position reports directly to the Executive Clinical Director and works hand-in-hand with facility Therapists and Case Managers.

We will be providing services to a primary substance use disorder population, specializing in treatment for Veterans and active-duty members.


Schedule(s) Available:

  • Full-time, 8:30a-5pm; scheduled days to be discussed in interview.
  • Weekend availability is required.

Pay:

  • $28.50-31/hourly

The Clinical Support Staff member is responsible for conducting groups, covering patient case loads, biopsychosocial assessments and assisting the clinical department in a wide variety of patient care activities as directed by the attending Clinical Director.

Essential Functions:

  • Participate effectively in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews, demonstrating adequate preparation and understanding of patient issues, progress, areas of resistance, positive and negative strategies, etc.
  • Completes baseline clinical assessments, biopsychosocial.
  • Conducts groups.
  • Assist Therapist and Case Manager as needed.
  • Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for covering client caseload in absence of primary Therapists.
  • Assists Therapist in familial communication and documentation.
  • Assists client in managing outside stressors.
  • Maintains clinical records according to program policies and those of licensing and accrediting agencies.
  • Assists Therapist and Case Manger with discharge planning.

Qualifications:

  • A passion for the field of behavioral/mental health and has a goal to further develop clinical skill.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (or related Human Services field); Master's Degree strongly preferred.
  • CDC II, NCAC II, or MAC.
  • Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) or obtains QAP within 3 years from start date.
  • Work experience in the field of behavioral/mental health, preferred but not required.
