Job description

We are seeking a Graduate Medical Education (GME) Analyst or former Medicare GME Auditor who is interested and has experience developing PRA numbers for a residency based on a hospital’s Medicare utilization, licensed beds, etc. This position will be compensated by a project-paid position with multiple projects in the planning stages.

Responsibilities:

  • The Medicare Analyst/GME CMS Analyst is responsible for developing PRA numbers for a residency program based on a hospital’s Medicare utilization, licensed beds, etc. The GME Analyst is responsible for the overall planning and generating of a budget for a GME program years 1 to 7.
  • Assessment of the proposed GME Program. Discussion and data gathering with hospital personnel in charge of the proposed Graduate Medical Education program.
  • Preparation and submission of estimated financial and reimbursement estimates for Direct Graduate Medical Education (GME)/Indirect Medical Education (IME) and projections for the Graduated Medical Education Program on an agreed time schedule.
  • Discuss and respond to inquiries from Hospital personnel on the assumptions used in the projections.
  • Discuss aspects of Medicare Reimbursement as it relates to GME program.
  • Respond to requests for other finance and reimbursement services as needed.
  • Conduct a cost analysis for a soon-to-be accredited residency program.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $44.21 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Los Angeles, CA 90025
