CNC Machinist
- Location: Irwin, Pennsylvania
- Payrate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour depedning on experience, Sign-On Bonus
- Schedule: 10-hour shift, Monday – Thursday or Tuesday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM

Role and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machine, edit programs
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Must read and understand layouts, job packets, and blueprints for parts being run (including geometric tolerance). This includes understanding of dimensions and tolerances of finished parts.
- Follow set-up procedures as well as recommend improvements.
- Work as a team member to aid and support personnel, to operate to departmental standards, including quality and productivity goals.
Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
- Ability to set up new parts following blueprint instructions.
- Optimize machine to ensure daily goals and production is met.
- Understand how to read, edit G & M Codes.
- Understand tooling requirements to set-up and operate machines in the department, including selecting and aligning tooling, fixtures, and attachments for machining.
- Touch off tools and make offsets.
- Ability to troubleshoot effectively and efficiently with little (if any) guidance from lead to avoid downtime of machines.
- Ability to perform a sequence of operations without supervision and consistently maintain the performance levels set for quality and quantity.
- Must have experience with Lathes and Mills
