Elevo Coach / Peer Mentor

Location: Chino, CA

THE ROLE

Seeking coaches/peer mentors to work about 3-4 days a week at a local school(s) in Chino Valley Unified

• A meaningful mission to transform kids’ lives and innovate learning
• The opportunity to work in an educational environment 3-4 days a week, from 8 am-12pm, Monday- Friday
• This is an in person position.

The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Below is a non-exhaustive list of the physical requirements for this role.

• Must have the ability to constantly move about to accomplish tasks or move from one place to another
• Must have the ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, and running
• Must have the ability to move safely on irregular and or uneven terrain

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Engage students in SEL & PE curriculum
• Certify mandatory instructional minutes required for the program
• Demonstrate, engage, and participate in games with students
• Lead groups of students in activities while implementing strong behavior management skills on the field
• Act as a positive and inspiring role model
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service for all students and school staff
• Follow COVID 19 protocols outlined by the school

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching or child development strongly preferred
• Authorized to work in the US

• Excellent behavioral management skills
