Title: Composite Technician

Contract: 12 Months

Location: 7130 Miramar Rd #200, San Diego, CA 92121

What you’ll get to do:

· As a Manufacturing Technician you work on the next generation composite structures.

· This job involves the fabrication of composite hardware using a variety of methods such as hand layup, bonding, assembly, trimming and final finishing. It will require development of skills to competently perform tasks designed to produce product that meet our customer expectations. Tasks may be in team environments or individual based.

Basic Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience in Aerospace or manufacturing and production

· Proficiency in Microsoft applications

· Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, and kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 35 pounds and working overhead

· Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

· Composite experience and/or certification

· Aerospace assembly

· Demonstrated ability using standard measuring equipment and power hand tools

· Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical specifications and operating procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
