Job Summary:*
Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks or curbs to specified textures; using hand tools including floats, trowels and screeds. The employee will report directly to their Foreman.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*

• Smooth out concrete in segments to ensure the concrete that is poured is level
• Arrange the concrete forms
• Spread concrete
• Level concrete by using special blades, making sure all lumps and bubbles are smoothed over
• Smooth high spots and fill depressions
• Wash away excess concrete
• Finish corners by hand
• Use machines that vibrate concrete to fill air pockets
• Use groovers and hand trowels to spread concrete

Qualifications:*

• At least one year of relevant concrete experience
• Provide own tools: hammer, pouch, edger, float and trowel
• Able to work Saturdays when needed
• Must be able to show proof of identify and right to work in the US
• Must be able to pass drug screen
