This is a temporary position with a projected timeline of April-August. Pay range is $17-$20.


PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Position requires handling and processing of parts, products, and other materials in a warehouse environment. Other duties include receiving, order processing, and warehousing duties as assigned.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Essential Job Functions:

  • Assists with receiving product, parts, and other materials into an inventory management system for order fulfillment, while also ensuring the correct quantity, part #, and good condition of the items.
  • Products and materials will be related to HVAC, plumbing, electronics, electrical, water heaters and other products to be used by the Installation and Service businesses.
  • Processes orders for products, parts and other materials required for HVAC installations.
  • Stage completed orders for pick up by installation and service technicians.
  • Process orders for service technician truck stock replenishment.
  • Prepare parts orders for shipment via various parcel carriers.
  • Put away incoming inventory into its designated locations.
  • Perform daily warehouse housekeeping activities.
  • Comply with all safety practices and PPE requirements.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts as needed.


Skills / Abilities / Knowledge:

  • Utilize appropriate customer relations skills when interacting with internal and external customers.
  • Computer experience and skills with ability to accurately input and retrieve receiving data of all products, parts, and material.
  • Ability to learn and identify products related to HVAC installation and service.


Education / Experience:

  • Experience preferred, but not required, receiving materials and processing orders in a warehouse environment.
  • Prior experience / ability to operate electric fork/clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.


Additional Job Requirements:

  • Must be willing and available to work various shifts, schedules, and days as needed to support Business Operations.
  • Receptive to cross-training into all aspects of the warehouse operations.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
