This is a corporate position primarily providing construction project administration and coordination to the development and construction department, and secondarily acting as a point of contact, interacting with subcontractors, professional service providers and business partners. This position requires professional and courteous conduct at all times, and excellence in delivery. Experience with development and construction of residential and or Commercial projects is a plus.

Responsibilities:

-Provides construction project administration and coordination for development and construction services, including:

-Support/knowledge in managing budgeting and cash flow of the projects.

- Schedule Monthly site managers meetings.

-Information management and record keeping systems, electronic and paper

-Assisting with special projects to Project Executive and Project Manager.

-Managing and updating job procedure binders

-Preparing permits and applications

-Preparing submittal packages

-Setting up and managing project utilities accounts

-Project job estimating and bidding with subcontractors

-Provide administrative support to other members of construction team, as needed

-Regularly interacts with all company staff independently and on behalf of supervisor and/or executives

-Represents company via regular interaction with subcontractors, professional service providers, business partners, consultants, and public employees and officials.

-Deals with confidential and proprietary information on a regular basis and must be able to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality

-Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Professional and courteous demeanor with commitment to excellence in customer service

Familiarity with construction processes and communications

Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality with proprietary and other information

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in construction administration.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.

Strong organizational skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Projects

Ability to prepare reports and communications on behalf of company

Ability to multi-task and to work under time constraints, deadlines, and other stresses

Knowledge of general construction project timelines and schedule management

Knowledge of general permitting and plan submittal processes

Experience with Pro Core is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
