Construction Project Management Administrative Assistant
Job description
The Project Management Assistant provides administrative support to the Construction Project Managers. Job duties include, but are not limited to, filing and setting up job folders, maintaining documents associated with construction job bids, assigning job numbers, recording contracts, reviewing contracts for tax exemptions, certified payroll requirements, signatures and lien waiver requirements, making copies for submittals, preparing correspondence to architects and engineers, typing and formatting reports, tables, letters, faxes, memos, emails, etc.
Qualifications and experience include:
- Minimum of 2 years construction administrative experience.
- Basic office skills
- High computer literacy - MS Office including MS Work and Excel; Adobe Sign
- Viewpoint experience a PlLUS
- Proficient math skills - ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
- Ability to interpret documents such as contracts, procedure manuals, etc.
- Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information
- Must possess a thorough understanding of construction practices, processes, standards and their impact on project activities.
- Experience with or ability to learn Viewpoint
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
