Job Overview:
The Technical Advisor will oversee duties related to the disassembly, reassembly and testing of natural gas large bore integral gas engine and compressors. The Technical Advisor will be fluent in the procedures to prepare and rig heavy equipment for disassembly/reassembly and removal. The Technical Advisor will perform and foster all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and regulations. The Technical Advisor will be capable of reading detailed prints, use and read micrometers, dial calipers and dial indicators along with other sophisticated measuring devices. The Technical Advisor will work overtime, weekends and holidays as the project requires.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
In the role of the Technical Advisor, you will:
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate and lead by example a commitment to Environmental Health & Safety.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
- Have strong mechanical aptitude with an Oil & Gas Industry background as well as the ability to use a wide range of mechanical tools and test equipment.
- Oversee the project workbook that documents all readings taken during the project.
- Be responsible for ensuring facility equipment and tooling is accounted for, operating efficiently, and safely.
- Identify, report, and mitigate problems or hazardous conditions that occur during equipment disassembly, assembly and commissioning.
- Possess excellent communication, teamwork, and collaborative skills with team members and strive to meet project timelines and financial goals.
- Occasionally perform site walk throughs to assist with the preparation of a project scope of work.
- Travel from project to project to provide technical assistance.
- Provide project information to the project manager to track physical and financial milestones.
Qualifications/Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school or institution.
- Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry working on large bore integral gas engines and compressors.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
