The purpose of this position will be to develop the marketing plan and manage the day to day information as it pertains to social media, foster parent recruitment, data gathering, and the initial engagement of prospective foster parents. The Foster care department serves over 250 children and monitors close to 300 homes in fourteen counties in the upstate area. The position will be responsible for developing a plan of advertising to engage prospective foster parents to inquire to the agency about fostering. The position will also be a leader in the communities we serve to ensure name recognition of the agency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Create, develop and lead, a social media campaign for the Foster Care program.
  • Creating and posting content on social media i.e.: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, company website etc.
  • Management and oversight responsibilities of social media platforms for potential inquiries by reading comments and responding to potential inquiries 24/7. Also manages social media sites for malicious comments and content
  • Make initial contact with all inquiring families, as well as providing information as requested and supporting the Executive Program Director.
  • Maintain the department SharePoint site and other agency data bases to ensure that all data tracking regarding foster homes is current and accurate
  • Develop reports from data to show the efficacy of campaigns and status of Foster Home recruitment and offer/make adjustments to the campaign to maximize output and overall efficiency.
  • Partner in the development of the overall recruitment and retention plan for each specific office

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and 3 to 4 years of relevant/transferrable experience
