Coordinator, Special Events & Administrative Support
Job description
The UNM School of Law seeks an experienced Coordinator of Special Events & Administrative Support for its Advancement team. The Coordinator of Special Events & Administrative Support will assist with coordinating large- and small-scale events for the Law School and will provide administrative support to the Advancement team. The Coordinator of Special Events & Administrative Support will serve as the primary contact for vendors associated with events. She/he/they will also assist with providing day-to-day administrative support for the unit, including, but not limited to, stewardship communications, travel arrangements, and processing reimbursements. The ideal candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

- All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the US-UNM Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
- Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.
High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience coordinating logistics for large- and small-scale events.
- Experience providing administrative support to a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
