This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.
This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.
The anticipated term of this engagement will be 0 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.
Copywriters work with our creative and marketing teams to create and evolve various programs and campaigns spanning all media. Responsibilities include heavy copywriting combined with sound strategic thinking: the right candidate will be skilled at crafting compelling headlines, benefits-oriented body copy and actionable CTAs.
Key Responsibilities and Duties

Create copy for marketing, sales and advertising materials working closely with marketing team members ensuring that brand voice and message is powerfully and consistently communicated across multiple distribution channels that span, print, email, mobile, web, video and radio.

Collaborate with designers to execute visual and copy ideas that creatively brings our brand to life and inspires action on the part of the target market.

Develop content within timelines, budget and project requirements

Assist in developing and implementing creative strategy for projects.

- 3 years of marketing copywriting experience
- Knowledge and experience writing for a range of distribution channels including social, print, email, mobile, web and video
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Mastery of the written English language and grammar
- Ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline-driven and collaborative creative environment
- Experience collaborating with designers, effective at communicating with creative and business partners
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and have strong attention to detail
Training & Experience:
- Experience writing for financial services or other regulated industries preferred
- Knowledge of emerging trends for content distribution
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
