Job title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic team in Osage, IA. As a COTA, you will work in collaboration with our licensed Occupational Therapists to provide care and treatment to our patients. You will assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, provide therapeutic activities, and help our patients achieve their goals towards recovery and independence.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic activities to patients to promote their recovery and independence
• Monitor and document patients' progress towards their goals
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment reports
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure effective patient care
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must have a current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
• Must have an associate degree from an accredited COTA program
• State license or certification required
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
