Pocahontas County Assessor

The Pocahontas County Examining Board will be filling the Pocahontas County Assessor position.

The Pocahontas County Assessor serves as the Department Head for the Assessor’s Office and leads all appraisal operations and services for property taxation within the County. The Assessor shall establish goals and objectives within the policy directive established by the Iowa Department of Revenue and in accordance with all Federal and State laws. This position shall interpret appraisal and assessment rules and regulations as well as providing oversight for the valuations of real property for tax purposes.
