Lincoln Tech inColumbia, MDis seeking a Part-time evening Culinary Arts Instructor to share the art of cooking with the next generation.
Key Requirements:
- Associate degree
- 3+ years Industry experience
- ServSafe certification
Responsibilities
- Encourage and train students, to help them grow into culinary professionals
- Carry out Lincoln Tech's established curricula in an organized and concise manner
- Demonstrate culinary skills safely in our fully equipped kitchen
- Assure classes are conducted in a manner that complies with the principles of food safety and sanitation
- Instruct students about safety in the kitchen, proper measurement, and cooking techniques
- Evaluates students' performance, and maintains accurate attendance records
- Maintains a positive and focused learning environment
- Good understanding of culinary equipment and safety
- Strong communication skills
