Intrepid Control Systems is looking for a professional and friendly Customer Service Representative who can quickly and effectively drive tasks through to completion. This role would assist our team and customers with any information regarding product receipts, prices, shipping dates, and any delays in their shipment. There is a lot of behind-the-scenes organization required to ensure our success as a team. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, high-quality written communication, and follow-through are essential, as you’ll regularly communicate with customers. In addition to routine tasks, every week at Intrepid is full of new challenges you’ll help support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Presents a professional and friendly attitude to incoming callers and visitors.
Informes customers of receipt, prices, shipping dates, and delays.
Answers emails in a timely and professional manner. All emails must be addressed within 24 hours of being received.
Uses BlueSky and QuickBooks to process outgoing orders.
Researches and compiles data for the preparation of various reports.
Ships products.
Processes customer orders and arranges shipment within 24-48 hours.
Utilize forms within the office by applying knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Apps, OpenOffice, and RingCentral; update as needed.
Maintains files in an organized and accessible manner to include updating information, purging files on a regular basis.
Operates standard office equipment efficiently (telephone, computer, printer, scanner, etc.).
Contributes to the team to ensure business goals are met.
Communicates current needs to the immediate team and other departments.

Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent degree.
At least two years of business administration or a similar role in a professional environment.
One to two years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree in business administration or equivalent degree
Two to five years of experience in business administration or a similar role.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Self-starter who is able to work independently
Ability to work with people of widely varying competencies
Valid driver license with a good driving record
Able to pass a satisfactory background check
Must be willing to work overtime, as needed
