Job description

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and loves dogs and interacting with people to join our customer service team! You will be the face of our company and perform both customer service work as well as administrative tasks, including invoicing. This is a position with a lot of responsibility. We also offer dog-related staff discounts or access to free group classes! We will provide details to serious candidates. You will mostly work from home as an independent contractor but would be required to come to our campus for meetings, so we prefer you live within commuting distance to our Lutz campus. This will also enable you to get a feel for the fun dog programs and an array of services we offer : )

Responsibilities:

- Manage the customer service inbox and perform daily duties such as emails, phone calls, scheduling for group classes and pet sits, and reports

- Communicate professionally, efficiently, and cheerfully with prospective clients, current clients, and our team of trainers, pet sitters, and admin staff

- Accurately invoice for services rendered in a timely manner

- Problem-solving skills that are above average

- Communication skills that are patient, respectful, and kind

- Has a help-oriented mindset and is looking to make a difference by helping to enhance dog and parent communication

-Is a self-starter that does not need to be micromanaged

In addition to having a strong work ethic and eye for details, our ideal candidate should be friendly and comfortable on the phone, has previous knowledge/experience with google docs not limited to but including excel, be willing to learn, and already have a basic knowledge of dogs and dog training. Prior experience in customer service and/or remote work is a plus! You will need a computer and a reliable internet connection.

Rate: $13/hour. This position averages about 20-28 hours a week. We are looking for someone who can work at least one weekend day (4 hrs), Mondays (8 hrs), and Wednesdays (8hrs) at a minimum.
