Léon & George is the premium e-commerce brand for indoor and outdoor plants. We're looking for a part-time specialist to join our Customer Experience team, with a focus on supporting our customers in keeping their plants alive and thriving.

Candidates must have hands-on experience with common indoor plant varieties. A horticultural background or at least 1 year of experience working at a plant shop is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent plant care support for Léon & George customers through thoughtful, hands-on interactions, that educate and build customer confidence in caring for living plants.
  • Diagnose and provide solutions for issues related to plant ailments, insects, repotting, encouraging new growth and other common and obscure issues as they arise
  • Communicate with customers via email, phone, SMS or video chat to respond to plant care questions and ailments
  • Advise customers on selecting plants and plant care products
  • Monitor and resolve ticket queue in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with customer experience team members on resolving issues and improving our overall service

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge in caring for and growing indoor plant varieties, Master Gardener or Horticultural Certification preferred
  • Excellent English grammar, written and verbal communication skills
  • 1+ years in Customer Service, help desk or call center experience
  • Tech savvy, comfortable with a computer and cloud applications (Google Business Suite, Video Apps, Customer Service Apps)
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to work quickly, prioritize tasks and stay calm under pressure
  • Must be based in the US

Schedule:

  • Part-time starting at 20 hours/week
  • Must have availability Monday to Friday
