Mojave Foods Corporation , a subsidiary of McCormick & Company, Inc. and nationwide manufacturer & distributor of Hispanic Consumer Products is seeking a Cycle Counter 1- 2nd shift for the plant located in Commerce, CA . This person will report to the Warehouse Team Manager II.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under general leadership of the Warehouse Team Manager I, this position oversees inventory control, cycle counting and inventory adjustments. Ensure master data for production materials is accurate at Mojave. The Cycle Counter 1, will be responsible for ensuring overall performance of team to meet all scorecard metrics and OGSM's for cost, quality, service, safety, sustainability, organization health, sanitation, and materials management reliability. Supports the growth of the High-Performance Work System and drives continuous improvement. Participates in cross-functional problem solving and process improvement activities. Investigates & communicates root cause failure analysis, including recommending and implementing resolutions. Ensures that all activities follow documented operating procedures and recommends updates to existing procedures as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Timely completion of cycle count at distribution center and plant. Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies. Supports training programs that enable the warehouse to provide effective, standardized training across the sub-processes. Ensuring objectives are met in quality, service, document management and SOX requirements. Support warehouse activities as needed. Conduct inventory counts on external warehouses and DSD trucks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
1 year of experience in either Manufacturing/Warehouse/Inventory.
Proficient in Microsoft office Suite programs, including Word and Excel (experience with pivot tables and v-lookup)
Experience in inventory control.
Strong communication documentation and follow through skills.
Identifies potential risk factors through analytical interpretations.
Must be effective in recognizing enhancements and potential issues and escalating issues or making recommendations as needed.
Uses of analysis, logic and reasoning in decision making.
Ability to travel 10%-20% to remote warehouse locations with overnight stay.
High level of initiative and the ability to work in a team environment. Ability to coordinate and gain cooperation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
SAP/ERP system experience
Bilingual in Spanish
