Bergseng Family Farms is hiring a part-time employee for this summer. Start date would be approximately May 1. This is a great position for a student in River Falls for the summer or someone looking for some additional work! We are looking for someone who could work a few evenings a week with typical hours from 4-7 pm. Weekend shifts as needed/desired. This position could be just for the summer or continue through the fall if wanted. Previous experience with livestock desired but willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities include:

1. Milking ~120 cows in a parlor setup

2. Care of calves including feeding milk, grain, hay and bedding

3. Feeding of older livestock and bedding

4. General maintenance and cleaning of facilities

Requirements:

· Must be able to work outside and be on their feet for several hours at a time

· Must have reliable transportation

· Must be able to speak and read English

Bergseng Family Farms is a 150-cow dairy with cropping and feeder cattle operations located near River Falls.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
