Position Overview:
The ATI data analyst is an expert in data acquisition, statistical analysis, data review and visualization, and can pull together and interpret varied data and sources to create a seamless story to inform better decision-making. This position participates in client deliverables, marketing and research initiatives, supporting the client service and go to market strategy of the firm. The ATI data analyst also contributes as a technical resource, helping to maintain databases, pipelines and other data infrastructure.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Evaluation of existing data sources and development of action plan for delivering reliable data to drive insights for analysis at ATI- Gathering data and conducting analyses in support of client deliverables, including, but not limited to, competitive compensation analyses (retrospective, current, and prospective analyses for corporate executives and board directors), competitive performance analyses, equity dilution and overhang analyses, and pay-for-performance assessments
- Developing tools, templates, and analytical models for ATI as needed to support consistency and quality to assist the review process
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to develop and publish intellectual capital and thought leadership pieces in support of ATI initiatives
- Supporting marketing and business development through research on campaigns and prospects, mining data for thought leadership, and tracking and communicating market trends to internal staff
- Drafting detailed client reports and deliverables
- Participating in internal client team calls
- Supporting firm quality standards through detailed fact-checking, quality control, and rigorous adherence to methodological standards
Competencies
Strong quantitative skills, including use and analysis of large data sets, and facility with sophisticated mathematical and statistical concepts and models- Highly analytic and critical mindset demonstrated by asking second and third order questions developed through exploratory data analysis
- Detail oriented with high standards of quality
- Strong work ethic and self-starter
- Executive Compensation, corporate governance, and/or investor relations experience (a plus)
Technical Skills
MS Office: Excel including VBA and PowerPoint- Basic Statistics including linear and multi-variate regression
- SQL / Relational DB
- Data visualization (Tableau a plus)
- Python / Machine Learning
Required Education and Work Experience
BS in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics- Previous work experience in data analytics role (2 – 5 years)
