Position Summary:

The Data Analyst will be a key contributor on our Revenue Strategy and Analytics team, collaborating with a variety of functional departments across the company to drive our core business goals and decision-making. We operate in a dynamic, high-volume business environment with millions of transactions, reservations, and loyalty members. As a Data Analyst at The Parking Spot, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the business through your customer-oriented segmentation and attribution efforts. This position is perfect for a candidate with a passion for data, a creative analytical mind, and a strong technical foundation.

Our offices are based in the heart of the Loop in downtown Chicago, but we are pleased to note that our Chicago office is operating on a hybrid work model (mix of in-office and remote work).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess our business processes and how they support our company goals
  • Collaborate with different functional areas on major technical and analytical projects
  • Design and develop new data pipelines to automate generation of analyses
  • Perform exploratory analyses using relevant business questions, particularly related to client and consumer behavior
  • Present and communicate results of analyses to the management team and stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • 4-year BA/BS college degree
  • 2+ years of professional business and/or data analysis experience
  • Proficiency using SQL to create, transform, and access data
  • Proficiency using Tableau for complex visualizations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Python and data-related packages is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to distill large amounts of business data into actionable insights
  • Strong sense of curiosity, urgency, and excitement around challenging business questions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts and findings to diverse audiences
