Description:

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data Warehouse team. This role will report to the Director of IT Reporting and Analytics and be involved in the planning, design, and implementation of our centralized data warehouse for reporting and analytics across all applications within the company.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role the candidate needs to have the following qualifications:

• Knowledge of SQL and Scala
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL database systems
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure Preferred)
• Experience with acquiring and preparing data from primary and secondary disparate data sources
• Deep knowledge of modern data warehouses including Azure Synapse and Snowflake
• Ability to write complex ETL processes using SQL and Spark notebooks
• Ability to perform data analysis, data mining and data mapping
• Healthcare industry experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions
• Work with other team with deep experience in machine learning, distributed microservices, and data science domains to understand how to centralize their data
• Share your passion for staying experimenting with and learning new technologies
• Perform thorough data analysis, uncover opportunities, and address business problems
• Summarize, group, and visualize data sets and information for inclusion in the data warehouse
