We are hiring a Database Administrator to work in Laurel, MD. Position location is subject to change based on central MD client's needs.

Required: TS/SCI with a polygraph

Responsibilities:

• Complete administration and maintenance of all production and non-production Oracle databases and Oracle Application Servers.
• Monitor PRISM databases, implementing database security, optimizing the databases through performance tuning, performing database backups and retrievals.
• Work in partnership with integration and data migration teams on technical issues that may arise during sustainment.
• Maintain the day-to-day integrity of the application software, interfaces, and dashboards.
• Respond to changes in Agency policies that may require database and hosting updates. Ensure deadlines are met.
• Provide response to and support audit activities.

Qualifications:

• 2 to 5 years of Database Administrator experience
• Knowledge of Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) preferred
• Possess CompTIA Security+ certification OR the ability to obtain within 45 days of start of employment
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university preferred; 5 years of DBA experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree
