We are looking for assistant teachers. Candidates should be comfortable with various age groups and have flexible availability.

Job Mission:

Behind the success of every classroom, the leader is a dynamic team of Assistant Teachers. The role of an Assistant Teacher is similar to that of a "supporting actress" in the theatre. Always one to be counted on, this person is motivated to get any job done with a high level of enthusiasm, efficiency, and organization. The ideal candidate should function as an integral part of a team of educators in implementing lesson plans and creating a warm, welcoming and positive classroom environment.

Job Responsibilities:

· Foster a learning environment that stimulates child growth and development

· Contribute to the creation and implementation of lesson plans

· Ensure a clean and healthy classroom atmosphere by maintaining children's proper hygiene and following proper diaper changing and potty training policies and procedures

· Complete a minimum of 20 hours of ongoing professional development

An ideal candidate for this role should possess:

· Nurturing, flexibility, willingness to learn and adapt, positive attitude, friendly persona, able to communicate with parents and overall eagerness to grow

· Must love children and have a passion for teaching

· Prefer CDA or BA in Education (focus in Early Childhood preferred) or foreign equivalent

· Prefer prior classroom experience in child care, preschool or kindergarten.

· Compensation is based on education and experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
