Job Description: We are currently seeking a Box Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience driving box trucks and delivering rental items to various event locations. As a Box Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up rental items such as specialty decor, furniture, and lounge rentals, scenic decor, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and operate a box truck to deliver and pick up rental items
- Ensure rentals are set to client's specifications
- Load and unload rental items
- Ensure all rental items are in good condition before and after delivery
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with warehouse tasks as needed
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent communication and customer service skills Availability to work weekends
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with New Orleans and surrounding areas
- Must be able to pass drug screening
- Must be able to work weekends
We offer competitive pay and some paid breaks. Weekends are required for this position. Bi- annual bonus!
